SLACKER!!!
Yes, I know. I've been slacking these past few days. It's really hard to keep up with blogging everyday when you have a busy lifestyle. Also, I also have to show that I'm still human and have a life other than sitting in front of a computer blogging all day. =)
The past few days have been slow at work but eventful back at home. We've been occupied with a lot of important issues to be addressed. Nothing bad in particular to my life, but to a friend that is close to us. So we're just trying to offer some mental support to this specific person who is dear to us ("us" being my anonymous girlfriend and I). We're just trying to help her piece back her life together. For those who know who this person is, then you can understand.
On Saturday night, we and a few friends decided to meet up in San Francisco's North Beach for coffee and conversation. It was nice to be out in the crowds enjoying the company with friends. We had coffee and delicious desserts at Cafe Greco. Walked around and called it a night. It finally occured to me that I really miss wandering the streets of San Francisco. Back in my college days, my roommates and I would hop on the MUNI to a new destination for us to explore. One day we decided to walk from our USF campus down into the North Beach, and we started walking in the alleys and backyards of people who live out there. You'd be surprised at how much you can explore just on foot.
What I miss most is going out to hang out. Work has prevented me from having the ability to stay out late on the weekends because I know I would have to get up early the next morning. Once in awhile I'll push the envelope and stay out late. The opportunity of being out, enjoying the time with friends, people watching, and absorbing the atmosphere is really gratifying. I should enjoy it now before my life get even more hectic. So on an ending note, enjoy every moment that you have in life. You never know when that moment can be taken away from you or when you won't have enough time in your life to enjoy it.
