Moving and Shaking!
Did you feel it this morning? Apparently, the greater East Bay, specifically Oakland had a minor earthquake with the magnitude 4.2 at 4:42AM. I slept all the way through it. A friend of ours woke us up terrified and asking us if we felt it. She happens to live very close to the epicenter. I turned on the local news and they were already covering it and taking calls from all over the bay area. Here's what the USGS has to say . No injuries reported. Just a bit of damage at local businesses such as broken glass and windows. There was also some reports of power outages affecting some residents and businesses. Nothing major. Again, this is just another awakening that we live in earthquake terriorty. Are you prepared?
