Yes, I know. It's been a few months since my last blog post. I can say that a lot has happened over the span of a few months. Here is what took place in short.
  • Went on a trip to Los Angeles the first week of June to visit co-workers and to add an extra ten pounds to my body just from eating.
  • I was diagnosed with Gout. There was a previous post about my foot pain, wearing a walking cast boot, etc. Turns out that being flatfooted was not the problem. Gout was the reason for foot pain and swelling. Blood tests confirmed that my uric acid levels were really high. I'm on medication and basically cut out beef from my diet.
  • Mary and Nelson got hitched on 8/8/2009. Mary is Sherry's cousin.
  • Pat and Stephanie got hitched on 10/3/2009 and I officiated their wedding. It was the first time I ever officiated a wedding. It was a lot of fun!
  • Since my engagement to Sherry, we have already locked in a wedding venue and date. It will be on October 10, 2010. (Operation 10/10/10 as I would like to call it)
  • Just returned from a week vacation in Boston. It was a family trip with my parents, sister, and Sherry. Visited my dad's older brother and their family. Haven't seen them in over 24 years! It was great to see them and they were so nice to drive us around MA to sightsee!
Haven't done a good job in keeping this blog up to date. I'm trying!

As I walk into my office in the morning, I stumble upon two boxes that I've been long awaiting for. One box is large and the second is small. Excited like child in a toy store; it was my normal instinct to open the large box first. Enclosed in the large box was my new Executive Leather Office Chair. The original office chair I normally sit on was due for retirement. I would pump the chair up in the morning and by mid afternoon, I'd would nearly be in a squat position close to the floor. So I open the box up assemble the chair. I lean the chair back, get comfortable, spin around a few times, and test the hydraulics. Everything is fine and I can get started on my daily routine of work. As I'm sitting comfortably in my new office chair, I clear off my desk for the smaller box. iPhone 6s Plus

Decided to pull the trigger on getting the iPhone 6S series since AT&T was the last of the large mobile carriers to drop the two year contract phone option.  Now all the mobile companies require you to pay retail price for the phone or you'll have to finance the phone in your monthly bill payments. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning on getting the 6SPlus due to it's size. I have large hands, so it actually looks like a regular 6s in my hands. Although after reading the reviews, I was more sold on the 4K video aspect with image stabilization (a feature only available on the 6s Plus). I've also noticed that I've always purchased the "S" version of the iPhone. My main reason for getting the 'S' models is due to some of the revised enhancements done to the phone prior to the predecessor. Never understood what the S was abbreviated for. Is it short for: Security? Sucker? Speed? Sound? Sensitivity? Who knows? It's a great phone...

Our HOME is for sale!

We decided to put our Castro Valley condominium up for sale. It was our first home that we bought together 14 years ago and we want to pass it to another first time buyer or investor! Many memories in this place. The views of the bay are spectacular! It's in the coveted Castro Valley School District and conveniently located close to BART/freeways, etc. I personally did all the remodeling by myself. New bamboo floor, new carpet, new appliances, new interior paint, new lighting fixtures, new toilets, and new water saving fixtures.
