THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS ARE THE 2010 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!

It's been a long time since I posted here on my blog. A lot has happened indeed and a lot to celebrate for! I am so excited and happy for the San Francisco Giants! Today they made history! Their first World Championship Baseball win for the franchise for the 50 years they've been in San Francisco! Their victory even brought a tear to my eye! Fear the Beard, Torture, The Freak, Kung Fu Panda, Buster Posey, the Misfits, the names go on. The Giants were listed as the underdogs of this series. They are a team of hard working players who had the perseverance to obtain what they wanted; A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Who said you need a multi-million dollar player roster to win a World Championship? The Texas Rangers did a great job in putting up a good fight, but in all honestly, the Giants really deserved the Title! They are such a humble team. Especially Edgar Renteria, who received the World Series MVP. He struggled a bit during the season, but who would have known that he led the Giant...

The CURSE is OVER!!

In previous posts, I blogged about how I'm a curse to the San Francisco Giants . I am happy to announce that today, June 2, 2008, I attended a game and the Giants won! THE CURSE IS FINALLY OVER! My record for attending games where the Giants lose goes all the way back to games back when they were playing at Candlestick. This is the fifth home game I've attended this season, and the Giants win with me attending in attendance. A total shocker. Plus it was a blood bath win over the New York Mets . Giants 10 - Mets 2. It's not like I go to each game hoping that the Giants lose. I want them to win and it makes me somewhat upset that I've never attended a winning home game. The other great highlight, caro 2660 was able to score us $8.00 tickets for upper reserve seats with a deal online! These are seats that normally sell for $22! I couldn't ask for anything better in a game: cheap tickets along with a winning game! I think I'm going to "frame" ...

I'M A CURSE TO THE GIANTS AGAIN!

Yet again, when I attend a Giants game; THEY LOSE!!! This time the Giants hosted the Western Division leaders, the Arizona Diamond Backs. Until the ninth inning, I thought I broke the curse on the Giants when they were leading the D'Backs by 3-2. Then all of the sudden at the top of the ninth, the D'Backs with two men on base, outfielder Jeff Salazar hits a homer to make the score 5 to 3 D'Backs . Final score Diamondbacks 5, Giants 3. Yes, another disappointment! Perhaps I should just stay away from attending Giants games. It sucks that they are last in their division. Hopefully they can do better next season as long as I don't attend their games. Scored free tickets again! Thanks Larry! Lower Box Section 130 Mmm ....GARLIC FRIES Eww ...Stinky Breath! We brought our own Hot Dogs instead of paying $4 for just one!

I'm a curse to the SF Giants!

As everyone knows, I'm not big on spectator sports. My father wasn't big into sports either, so the tradition just passed down to me. Perhaps the only thing we'll watch is the Superbowl, Baseball's World Series, NBA Finals, the Daytona 500, etc. Only the final games that make world champion history is what we watch. Other than that, we can only name the professional sports stars that we hear in news media....from either good or bad news. Honestly, it's probably better that I don't get into watching sports, because I get really into watching the game. I start screaming, cheering, booing, etc....all the important qualities of being a fan. People have told me, I'm a bit too loud. Ever since the San Francisco Giants started at their new ballpark, I've yet to see a game there until a few days ago. I've driven by the ballpark, cursed the traffic near the ballpark, but never watched an actual game since the Giants played back at Candlestick Park (now known...
