My Cars
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged
0% financing for 72 hours in July of 2006 is what attracted me to purchase this car. There's no better deal than getting the General Motors Employee price along with 0% financing for 72 months! A fellow co-worker of mine purchased one earlier and was able to "fix up" this car to be a little four cylinder rocket. GM Performance Parts has a lot of upgrades you can add onto this car to give it extra horsepower! With 205 horsepower and 200lbs of torque fresh out of the box, an Eaton Supercharger, and sporty styling; makes this a great choice for a fun little car to drive and fix up.
Again, this was another vehicle purchased right off the lot at Novato Chevrolet on July 3, 2006.
Here is the list of Modifications on this car so far:
GM Performance Parts Division Stage 2
TAG Motorsports GM Stage 2 Custom Tune
2.79" Supercharger Pulley
60lbs Fuel Injectors
Injen Cold Air Intake

Dezod Motorsports 2.75" Cat Back Exhaust

This car has not been dyno'd, but should be
in the ballpark of about 240 wheel horsepower....not CRANK horsepower.
2003 Pontiac Vibe GT (The current BEATER)
The Vibe GT is my second car that I use to commute back and forth to work. I used to own a 1997 Nissan Sentra XE, but I traded it in for the Vibe GT since I couldn't pass up a great deal. Since I am currently working for Hilltop Buick Pontiac GMC as an internet sales consultant I was able to take advantage of the special GM employee pricing along with all the great rebate incentives.
I purchased this Vibe right off our inventory lot on December 12, 2002. It is my first official "brand spankin' new" car and it's really fun to drive. The Vibe GT delivers 180 horsepower and has a performance-oriented six speed manual transmission. It's has "lifters" that kick in more power when you reach over 6500rpms. Power that will catch you by surprise! It was manufactured in Fremont, California at the NUMMI plant.
This photo was taken from the Pontiac website, and it happens to be the exact same color as the Vibe GT that I purchased. More photos taken by me will arrive soon. The weather has not permitted me to take any photos as of yet.

1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - SOLD!!!! It was a great car, but I got rid of it to save for better investments.
My first car is a 1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. There was limited production for this model year because Nissan decided to make 1996 the last of Z32 bodystyle. Unfortunately, I do not have one of the last 300 units that were produced. I know that there were approximately 400-500 units (including the last 300) made nationwide. In my honest opinion, the car is still rare due to it's limited production for 1996.
The 1996 model year is frowned upon by many enthusiasts due to the changes that Nissan had to make in order to comply with ODB-II standards. Variable Valve Timing was removed and there was a slight reduction on the advertised 300 horsepower that the 300ZX twin turbo produces. Aftermarket modifications are limited (especially ECU tuning) due to the changes made. Even thought changes were made for the 1996 model, the 300ZX is still by far a fast sports car.
I purchased this car on September 5, 1999. It only had 27,000 miles on it when it was purchased. Everyone says that a sports car should have a manual transmission, but I decided to purchase an automatic. Why an automatic? At the time, I didn't know how to drive a stick, and since this was going to be my daily driver; it would be beneficial to have an automatic when sitting in Bay Area commute traffic. I sometimes wish I had a manual transmission, but when I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.....I'm happy that I have an automatic. Having an automatic transmission has it's advantages. You never loose boost pressure between shifts and all of the fastest 1/4 mile drag race 300ZXs are automatic.
My Z as it sits in front of our driveway. COVERED!
